Advanced Technology Demos and Pilots Third Party Administrator

The California Air Resources Board is soliciting a Grantee to implement and administer the Advanced Technology Demonstration and Pilot Project program for Fiscal Year (FY) 2021-22 with an option to renew for a new Grant Agreement for each of the following two years for FY 2022-23 and FY 2023-24.


This competitive Solicitation is open to California-based public entities (e.g. public agencies, municipalities, counties, special districts), or California-based non-profit organizations with experience in administering large scale air pollution control projects. Specific requirements for the Grantee are described in this Solicitation and Sample Grant Agreement. Applicants that wish to apply to be the Program’s third-party administrator and are selected as the Grantee will not be eligible to be a technical grantee for any project selected for funding under the FY 2021-2022 technical solicitation. To be considered for the grant award, applicants must fully complete the Application. CARB may request clarification regarding application responses during the application review process.

Nonprofit Public Agency Tribal Government
Applicant should have experience in implementing large scale technical projects.

Matching Funding Requirement:
Match funding is not required, but match funding provided by the applicant will be scored higher that applications that do not contribute match funding.
