The Strong Foundation is accepting grant applications for projects based in Northern California, including the Sierra Nevada and Central Valley. It may be helpful to note that the Foundation’s definition of Northern California extends from the Oregon border at the north to the San Luis Obispo, Ventura, Los Angeles and San Bernardino county lines at the south.
Priority is given to projects that involve conservation work, eco-spirituality, grassroots action, environmental education, innovation, capacity-building, and planning and training.
