Tyson Foods, Inc. is accepting applications to their Community Giving program.
Community Giving
- Relationship management is between the plant and the community. Realigns the relationship between the plant and the nonprofit community by relying on recommendations from plants to fund a community organization.
- Tyson will fund community grants that range from $5,000 – 50,000.
The most competitive proposals deliver programs within 20 miles of a Tyson Foods Production Facility, have defined outcome statements, and clearly demonstrate how the community and Tyson Foods’ manufacturing workforce could be involved.
Priority consideration will be given to proposals that align with our corporate priorities of:
- Providing hunger relief
- Assisting hourly Tyson team members and their families
- Community needs
There is also a stategic philanthropy initiative, but it is by invitation only.
Applicant organizations should be able to demonstrate the following:
- Show the impact that the organization is making in the community and the need that they are addressing
- Show how their programs meet the below criteria:
* Scalable Solutions—ability to continuously grow and expand
* Systemic Impact—addresses a system that disproportionally affects the masses
* Sustainable Efforts—maintainable and intersectional efforts that consider environmental, social, and economical factors
* Equitable Practices—steps taken to build healthy, equitable and resilient practices
* Transformational Change—structural change that is significantly impactful
