Searching for a fast paced, high energy multi-tasker to manage our busy donations center in Redlands.  Hours are Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm and First and Third Saturday 9 am to 1 pm

General Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION
TITLE: DONATIONS CENTER LEAD COORDINATOR
CLASSIFICATION: Full time/Non-Exempt

SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the Program Director is responsible for the management of agency donations and coordination of the volunteers who support that component.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Donations

  • Oversee solicitation of donated goods
  • Manage the collection of donated goods
  • Ensure required receipt record keeping
  • Manage the distribution of donated goods
  • Manage surplus food distribution

Oversee distribution of goods for meal preparation

  • Manage storage of donations
  • Manage donation pick-ups and overall care of agency truck

Volunteer Coordination

  • Work with Volunteer Coordinator regarding scheduling
  • Provide orientation of new volunteers to the process of donated goods

Shop and Bulk Storage

  • Oversee volunteer support in the Pantry, Clothing Room, Holiday
  • Coordinate volunteer schedules for the Distribution Center
  • Identify volunteer needs for the donations component

Administrative

  • Work with program staff to identify client needs
  • Coordinate with administrative staff on donation receipt processing
  • Provide facility management support as needed
  • Other Duties as Assigned

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/SKILLS DESIRED

  • Six months of experience performing related tasks
  • Proficiency of basic computer skills
  • Ability to work with a diverse population
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing

REQUIREMENTS

  • Fingerprint clearance and current TB test
  • Valid Class C driver’s license and proof of current vehicle insurance
  • Access to daily transportation for job responsibilities

 

Job Benefits

Life, health, paid holidays and accruals after 90 days

Salary/Pay Rate

$13.00 per hour
