Program Manager – Adult Development Center

Summary: Under the supervision of the Director of Day programs, the Program Manager is responsible for all phases of program services provided to participants in the Adult Development Center (ADC). Executes the policies of Anthesis related to the following: recruitment, development and management of staff and program participants; in-service training for staff and program participants, including person centered training; development of Individual Service Plans (ISP’s), participation in Inter-disciplinary team (IDT) meetings, case conferences, discharge summaries; etc. Note – this list is not all inclusive. Some of the essential duties include, but are not limited to:
Responsible to ensure all job duties are performed in-line with and in support of the mission of Anthesis; works under the direct supervision of the Director of Day Programs; participates in recruitment, training and management of the Day Program staff; assures personnel in day programs are trained in person centered planning; establishes and maintains a person centered culture throughout all program activities; responsible for ADC Program compliance with all policies, systems, and procedures of Anthesis as well as standards of accreditation, DDS regulations, and CCL regulations; serves as Case Responsible Person, representing the ADC/Program to CCL and Regional Centers; serves as liaison with community, public, non-profit organizations by representing the agency in a professional manner; assures prompt handling, reporting, and follow-through on incidents concerning program participant safety, injury, or other special situations to the Director of Day Programs, appropriate family, residential facility staff, referring regional center, IRC liaison, CCL Analyst, and SGPRC QA; assists in the development and execution of agency program evaluation of goals, objectives, and effectiveness of services and the dissemination of information to staff for staff evaluations; assures that program participant’s rights and confidentiality are respected by Anthesis staff members. Responsible for the quality of case records in accordance with systems and procedures of the agency.
Qualifications/Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required and Bachelor’s degree in rehabilitation, social work, human services, administration, other related field and a minimum of eighteen (18) months experience in management OR possess five (5) years’ experience in human services field, including at least (2) two years in management or supervisory position or equivalency. Five (5) years’ experience in the field of rehabilitation, social services or disability services system is desired or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position. Requires employment history of increasing manager/director responsibility in rehabilitation, social work or disability services system. Requires strong supervisory skills. Proficient in MS Office, particularly in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Basic level use of internet and email. Database experience a plus.
