Restoring dignity to the poor and marginalized, we serve the young, the old, and the mentally and physically challenged in the heart of San Bernardino city, one of the most economically challenged regions in the country. Since 1987, we have been serving the homeless (or individuals at risk of becoming homeless) with dignity and respect and thousands have received hot meals, clothing, supportive services, and access to showers, food, medical and dental services through Mary’s Mercy Center. Founded by clergy and volunteers from the Catholic Church, Mary’s Mercy Center is grounded in faith, but is not sectarian. General Responsibilities

Mary’s Mercy Center, Mary’s Village, Program Manager Summary: Mary’s Mercy Center is in search of a manager to lead our Mary’s Village staff in keeping the ship sailing smoothly. Working in a busy and varied non-profit business environment, our Program Manager will have the opportunity to perform a variety of administrative roles and responsibilities. The Program Manager will execute the program service according to contract and budget guidelines. This includes overseeing resources and coordinating the efforts of the program team members including Mary’s Mercy Center subcontractors, community partners, and ongoing outreach as it pertains to the target population. The Program Manager will assure that all goals and objectives are accomplished according to plan. Primary responsibilities include oversight of the campus, maintenance, kitchen(s), programming and security departments. The Program Manager will ensure each department is properly staffed and operating properly; ensuring security of clients, guests, and staff; overall health and safety for the facility; maintenance and cleanliness of the facility; all food purchases and meal preparation; programming, including case management; emergency/disaster preparedness; and, support for special events.

Salary/Pay Rate

$45,000-$50,000 depending upon experience, benefits, and with growth opportunities.
