Event Details

WEEKLY RECURRING

Youth Mental Health First Aid teaches adults how to recognize the signs and symptoms of a youth or adolescent undergoing a mental health of substance use challenge. Following a 5-step action plan (ALGEE) you will learn how to assess for crisis, listen non-judgmentally, give reassurance and information, encourage professional help as well as self help and other support strategies.

Due to the partnership of Dignity Health, this training is offered to you at NO COST! We are able to train people who live and/or work in the Dignity’s San Bernardino County footprint which includes San Bernardino, Redlands, Colton, Rialto, Fontana, Hesperia, Yucaipa, Mentone, Grand Terrace and Bloomington.
