San Bernardino County nonprofit organizations perform the function of primary employer by bringing dollars into the local economy. They spend money on payroll, goods and services, and construction. Now through the San Bernardino County Capacity Building Consortium Nonprofit Economic Impact Report, nonprofits’ economic contributions have been quantified, demonstrating that the nonprofit sector is an engine of economic activity.
