Variety The Children’s Charity of Southern California is accepting applications to the Sunshine Coach program.
This program is intended literally to bring children with special needs out into the “sunshine”. Today, thousands of these specially equipped Sunshine Coaches travel the world’s roadways, as each local Variety Chapter has developed regional programs. In Southern California alone, over 250 Sunshine coaches transport children to medical treatment, therapy, education and recreation.

Eligibility

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

501(c)3 organization

Program services expense comprise at least 65% of total functional expenses

Mission is to aid children with special needs in the areas of Health Care, Education or Mobility

Funding request is for a program specific to children in Southern California ages birth to 18

Clearly define the number of children served by this program

Submit an impact summary (to be provided by Variety) within 10 months of receipt of funding. If organization is listed on www.Candid.org, you should be current and updated with all Basic Organization Information.
