California Commission for Behavioral Health – Maternal Behavioral Health

Information

The California Commission for Behavioral Health is accepting applications for the Maternal Behavioral Health Initiative.

Funding is available for Community Based Organizations (CBO) to reduce out-of-home placements, improve educational outcomes, identify developmental delays, and otherwise serve the behavioral health needs of the target population.

Grant Amounts
Small County – 2 Grants – $2,000,000 each
Medium County – 2 Grants – $3,000,000 each
Large County – 2 Grants – $4,000,000 each

Eligibility

Applicant must:
Be an established CBO which has been in operation for at least two (2) years and has experience providing services that reduce out-of-home placement or other negative outcomes of behavioral health illness for the target population.

OR

Be a non-profit organization, registered to do business in California.
